What are the file types or supported formats compatible with Influxis services?


There are multiple file formats that are supported. In addition to the FLV (and MP3) format, FMIS also supports files derived from the standard MPEG-4 container format such as F4V, MP4, M4A, MOV, MP4V, 3GP, 3G2, VP8, etc., if they contain H.264 video and/or HE-AAC encoded audio. 

*note that non-alphanumeric characters in file names cause issues

HTML 5 portal users can take advantage of the Influxis encoding API to deliver videos to any device.

Users can upload multiple formats from their devices, including your iOS or Android devices, and have them encoded in formats available for viewing back on any platform.

Influxis encoding API includes the ability to encode WebM.
