H.264 content doesn't play in external players (i.e. Quicktime)

Follow

When you record H.264 content through Flash Media Server, the server records content in MPEG-4 format which uses a tech standard called "moof atoms". There are some players and tools out there that yet support this format which is why they will not work. You can use the F4V Post Processor tool from Adobe to re-format the recorded file to work with the players whom are incompatible with the new tech standard.
