Live Broadcast in HD with Influxis and Wowza Go Coder

Use Wowza GoCoder with your Influxis account to broadcast HD quality live events on-the-go from any location to any screen using H.264 adaptive bitrate streaming. Connect Wowza GoCoder to Wowza Streaming Engine™ to capture and stream live audio and video content in real-time over WiFi, 4G, or 3G.

 After you have installed the application for your smart phone or tablet you will want to locate your broadcast setting for your live stream. Log into your Influxis portal and select the live tab. Click on the the stream name you created or create a new stream at this time. Select the HD tab for that stream. If you want to record your live stream to the server you will want to select the record check box. You recorded live stream will be save in your source content folder. Recording will be saved for viewing on any platform or can be encoded to multiple bit rates if you streamed in HD at a high bit rate.

 For Clients on the HTML 5 portal you can use the following settings for your server address.

 

 On the Wowza Go Coder app select Wowza Streaming Engine.

Launch your go coder application and select Wowza Streaming Engine.

Next you will select Host.

On Wowza Go Coder you server IP is the FMS URL.

 

Server may be differ depending on what HTML 5 portal version you are on.

Next you will want to set the application and stream name. HTML 5 clients application is rtmpid or rtmpid_live depending on your version. Once again the path is shown on the HD setting tab for that stream name.

 

Stream name is your stream name created in the portal.

 

 

 

 

 

Publisher username and password is default for both.

 

 

 

You are now ready to start broadcasting your live stream!

Go Coder also has additional settings to broadcast your stream in HD or you can add effects to your broadcast.

You will want to select your bit-rate based on the available bandwidth based on your location.
